17th meeting
Our first meeting of the year was very kindly hosted by the Anglican Trust for Women and Children (ATWC).
The bulk of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing the wealth of information presented at the recent Infant Mental Health conference. Minutes will be posted here when they become available.
16th meeting
The meeting was hosted by Waitemata DHB maternity services. Sue Fitzgerald and her team created a very welcoming atmosphere. We focused on infant mental health issues encountered by midwives. There were updates from across the region and we set up meeting dates for 2010.

15th meeting
Hosted by Counties Manukau DHB, Perinatal & Infant Mental Health service.
Among other things, we discussed updates from our region, the trials and tribulations of CMDHB Infant Mental Health Service, and the Mother & Babies service in Christchurch.

14th meeting
Meeting hosted by Kari Centre (Epenesa Olo-Whaanga & Sarah Laing). We had a presentation of the newly opened Infant Mental Health project (Koanga Tupu) and updates from across the region.

13th Meeting
The meeting was held at and generously hosted by the Werry Centre.
Agenda items: Ministry of Health update, ADHB: initiative for prevention of shaken baby, and clinic for children in CYFS care, updates on the “Look at You” DVD and new Infant Mental Health service at Counties Manukau DHB, Hoki ki te Rito & Whanau outreach projects at Ohomairangi Trust, Real Skill Plus overview, Infant Mental Health pilot launched at Kari Centre (Koa Nga Tupu), Starship NICU consult liaison work.

12th meeting
The meeting was hosted by Kidz First, part of Counties Manukau DHB, home of Child Development Service. We had updates from across the region and a Brainwave presentation by Louise Porteous.

11th Meeting
Waitemata DHB Maternal Mental Health team hosted the meeting at North Shore Hospital.
We discussed updates from across the region. Bernadette Salmon presented a slide show on epigenetics. Bianca discussed a story of a 3 year old presenting with Regulatory Disorder - underactive/self-absorbed.

Tenth meeting
The meeting was hosted by The Anglican Trust for Women and Children. Many thanks to Michelle Ball, AWTC’s director, for a very special day. Tania Wilson and Epenesa Olo-Whaanga presented their impression of the International IMH conference in Japan. Upcoming training opportunities were discussed. Augustina Dreisen presented the SAFE and BASE programs.
After the meeting, we had a tour of the Granger Grove residential parenting program.
